5 Melt in Your Mouth Desserts

Dessert is often people’s favorite part of the meal. Our mouth’s water as the smells of dessert fills the air. Here are five quick and easy desserts that are sure to melt in your mouth.

1. Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Pie (No Bake)

You will need:

  1. 1 1/2 Cup Finely Crumbled Graham Crackers
  2. 1/2 Cup Sugar
  3. 1 Stick of Melted Butter
  4. 8 oz Cream Cheese, Softened
  5. 1 Cup Peanut Butter
  6. 1 Cup Powdered Sugar
  7. 1 Tsp Vanilla
  8. 1 1/2 Cup Heavy Cream
  9. 3/4 Cup Chocolate Chip
  10. 9-Inch Pie Pan
  11. Mixer

Combine graham crackers, sugar, and butter together in a mixing bowl. Press into 9-inch pie pan.In another bowl mix together cream cheese, peanut butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla. In a separate bowl, beat heavy cream until peaks form and then gently fold into peanut butter mixture. Do not stir quickly. Once all of the cream is mixed in, stir in the chocolate chips. Pour into pie pan and chill for at least four hours.

2. Chocolate Chip Bars Stuffed with Cheesecake

You will need:

  1. 30 oz Premade Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
  2. 8 oz Cream Cheese, Softened to Room Temperature
  3. 1/2 Cup Sugar
  4. 1 Egg
  5. 1 Tsp Vanilla
  6. 9×9 Pan
  7. Mixing Bowl
  8. Mixer
  9. Cooking Spray

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray 9×9 pan. Divide the cookie dough in half and press on half into the pan. Mix the cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla together until creamy. Pour into the pan. Flatten out the other half of the cookie dough and carefully lay it on top of the cheesecake layer. Place in oven until the cheesecake is set, about 30-35 minutes. Remove and chill before serving.

3. Easy Peach Cobbler

You Will Need:

  1. 2 Cans of Peach Pie Filling
  2. 1 Box of Yellow Cake Mix
  3. 2 Sticks of Butter
  4. Cinnamon for Sprinkling
  5. 13×9 Pan

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Pour both cans of peach pie filling into the bottom of the 13×9 pan. 0pen both cans of pie filling and pour into the bottom of the pan. Spread out evenly. Pour the yellow cake mix evenly over the top of the filling. Cut the butter into slices and evenly distribute over the top of the cake mix. Sprinkle on the cinnamon. Place in preheated oven for approximately 30 minutes or until the top is golden brown.

4. Cannoli Poke Cake

You Will Need:

  1. 1 White Cake, Baked in 9×13 Pan According to Box Directions
  2. 1 Can Sweetened Condensed Milk
  3. 1 1/2 Cup Ricotta Cheese
  4. 1 1/2 Cup Mascarpone Cheese
  5. 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
  6. 1 Cup Powdered Sugar, Plus More For Dusting
  7. 1/2 Tsp Cinnamon
  8. 1/2 Cup Chocolate Chips
  9. Mixing Bowl
  10. Electric Mixer
  11. Wooden Spoon

Once your white cake is cooled, poke holes in the top of the cake with the rounded end of the wooden spoon. Pour half of your can of evaporated milk on top of the cake. In your mixing bowl, combine cheeses and vanilla until smooth. Mix in powdered sugar and cinnamon. Finally, add the rest of the evaporated milk until well combined with mixture. Spread over the top of the cake and then sprinkle on chocolate chips. Dust with powdered sugar and allow to chill for 3-4 hours.

5. Easy Turnovers

You Will Need:

  1. 2 Cans of 8 Crescent Rolls
  2. 1 Can of Your Chosen Pie Filling
  3. 3 Tbsp Butter, Melted
  4. 1 Cup Powdered Sugar
  5. 1 Tsp Vanilla

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Unroll crescent rolls, but leave them in their squares. Press the dotted line together to seal. Pour some of the pie filling onto each crescent roll. Fold over and seal the edges. Place on a baking sheet and bake for about ten minutes or until golden brown. Meanwhile, mix together remaining ingredients until smooth. Once you have removed the turnovers from the oven, drizzle icing over the top.
